Week of June 12

Hands down the best film I saw in the Bell Film Festival was "The Death of a Paisa".  The film had a variety of shots, and the story line flowed really great. I liked how they had a horror film transformed into a sort of comedy film. The spanish talking really makes the acting stand out, and over all makes it feel like a home film. The Film has a lot of plot twistes when the main actor does something random and it really makes the audience laugh. "The Death of a Paisa", best film in the Bell Film Festival 2015.

Week of May 1st

So after I had finished my first film, I decided to get another production company up and running to make a music video. People in my production company consist of Dana, David, Jorge, and I. We will be using the song Blank Space By Tyler Swift and what we plan to accheive is a comedy of a guy trying to get at with a girl. The problem is that the girl doesn't like the guy and during the most of the music video he try's to get at her. At the end he finds out that there's this weird girl that likes him, and he doesn't like her back. In other words he gets a taste of his own medicine.

Week of April 27th

So over the weekend I was on YouTube and I had an enormous inspiration to make a music video on Cross Country and Track. So what I ended up making was exactly that, I uploaded the footage that I had on my phone and got the picture I have from Cross Country and I edited it for a long while. I ended up using the song Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, the song is quite sentimental and has rock to pump you up. I love the end result and I showed it to my track friends, and they all seemed to love it. Three of my friends said, "Dude, the video is sick!! I'm so pumped right now!!"

So this week we were suppose to wrap it up and be done by today, but our producer didn't check out the camera when we told him to. Due to this, Jesus Galvan is gonna have to check out the camera and will record the last bit of footage we need. We'll upload that on monday, and with the magic of teamwork get the film done Monday, April 20th.

We managed to interview our main actor for his part of the film, we also got some extra footage of an interview of "some other guy on the team talking about how great Adrain is". I been also helping out with my Friend Jesus Galvans film, about the documentary on SRLA, Students Run Los Angeles. On my side of the production company, we should be done by next week, somewhere around April 17, or either Monday, April 20. What Music Means to Me

I love listening to music. The time when I most listen to music is when i'm doing my homework, or when i'm out outside. Music is a combination of notes, that in synch, sounds like the perfect sound. I also listen to music when it's before a race. I get nervous sometimes because i alway's want to do my best. And music helps me get pumped up for the event, it makes you feel unstoppable. Like nothing could hold you back, your the best of the best. You feel like you could do anything. Music means to me, a way of motivation, a way to get inspired, a way to express one's feelings. Music seats the mood, it's a powerful tool to use. Music is a way of distraction, it makes you forget whatevery your doing. Say your cleaning the house, music helps you to not get bored.

Problems & Struggles

A lot of Bell High School Students are going through though times. Some have family issues, where their parents are getting divorced. Others are getting pregnent right in high school, and that's a really hard thing to go through, I can't imagine being a father, and still be in grade school. Other's are involved in some really bad habits, doing drugs, and I noticed that my freshman year at Bell. I remember when would change in the PE locker room's, and when ever you could smell the send of drug's, the PE teachers would come in and look for the one's responsible. They're alot of problems that Bell High Students are going through, it's impossible to say one isn't going through an issue in his life. Like I said, pregnancy, which I also found out my freshman year, when a girl in my first period english class got pregnacnt. I was stunded, how could she have gotten pregnant, at such a young age!

The Most Interesting Man in the World

To be Titled the most interesting man in the world is a god given title. But I got this friend that may just top that of the so called, "The Most Interesting Man In The World". His name is Jose Gomez, a former Cross Country and Track & Field runner from Bell High School. He moved school's over to Bell, and when I met him he just had this field of coolness around him. He talked to me about his other High School, and how they got 2nd place in their leauge. He said he'd really missed his old school, and I assured him, Bell was gonna be a way better school than his previous one. I talked to him about the team, how we had just won for the 3rd consecutive year in a row for Cross Country, and had qualified for city. He was interested on knowing who the fastest guy was, and what times he was hitting for XC. When he then felt comfortable with the school, he joined LeaderShip, which I thought was cool. It's like we could sneak in to see the football games for free, and stuff. He was aslo a

My Anti-Drug

My anti-drug. Well, I actually have two anti-drugs. Playing video games, and running. Both of witch i take advantage of when i'm going through thought times. When ever i'm stressed out, if its either from school, or family problems. i take witch ever i feel like doing at the moment, and go into a zone where reality disappears. Nothing matters anymore when your doing the things you like.I love doing these activites because they make me forget about my worries. It's an escape form reality. You get to enjoy yourself, if it's either running on a cloudy day, running off you problems, or if it's releasing your stress on a game thats so fun you completely forget about the exam you have the next week. For me they're both a great way to forget about your problems in life. I use gaming to forget, while i run to see what i'm doing wrong, how can i resolve it, and

The Inconvenient Truth

The Inconvenient Truth directed by Davis Guggenheim in 2006 is by far one of the best documentarys out there. Guggenheim discusses the very real, and growing problem on  global warming. He has countless hard facts that this problem is not going away. Infact, it has gotten worse over the past years, at an alarming rate. The predicament, as he said, "is literaly, off the charts". The United States of America is the leading cause of global warming, causeing as high as 30% of the overall global problem.     The Inconvenient Truth touches the reality that we are causing this problem, we are building up Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere. With the cluster of Carbon Dioxide, the light rays are not able to bounce of Earth and return to space. Instead, they get trapped inside Earth's atmosphere. Causing the world to warm up, global warming. Resulting in catastrophic Hurricanes, massive storms never before seen, record breaking heat, record breaking tornadoes, in one season. For example, Hurricane Katrina, was named, the mother of all hurricanes back in 2005 when it slamed into New Orleans. The Biggest Category 5 hurricane ever recorded, with substained winds of 160 mph, and gust up to 175 mph. And some may say, well it was bad luck, that global warming did not cause this monster storm. Well, just a couple of years later, in 2013, hurricane katrina was destroyed, when hurricane Haiyan slammed into the phillapines. This storm made Katrina look like a joke. Haiyan has substained winds of 175 mph, that as strong as Katrina's gust! Haiyan had wind gust of up to 225 mph! Yeah, global warming couldn't have caused that. Yeah right!
